Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager, where you’ll play a vital role in enhancing store operations, elevating customer service, and fostering team development. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Support daily store activities and operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Provide exemplary customer service by assisting customers in an approachable and positive manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are well-maintained. Conduct opening and closing procedures when necessary to ensure store readiness. Implement corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information requests. Maintain the effectiveness of storefront fixtures and promotional displays. Assist in ordering merchandise, managing damaged stock, and maintaining accurate record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, and cash register activities) while supporting loss prevention efforts. Keep the sales floor well-stocked and organized per company standards. Safeguard and secure all company assets, including cash. Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by all store associates. Collaborate with the Store Manager to supervise, train, and develop store associates. Promote a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment while fostering professional interactions with customers, associates, and leadership. Oversee cleanliness and maintenance throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining neat and presentable areas. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is required.
