Habitat Bucks is looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organize and team up with our ReStore Manager at the Quakertown location. The role of the Assistant Store Manager encompasses various administrative and operational responsibilities that influence the success of the ReStore. Acting under the supervision of the ReStore Manager, the Assistant Manager is expected to assume any necessary role or duty to support these operations.
Our ideal candidate will have retail manager skills with a sharp business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing, heavy-lifting, and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills are required to make all our customers HAPPY .

What would you do as a Retail Assistant Manager?
As a ReStore Assistant Manager at Habitat Bucks, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail associates. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, merchandising products, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. By working with the Store Manager, you will be able to help create sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue.
Additionally, you will train and coach staff members and volunteers, handle customer inquiries, make safety a priority, address concerns, and contribute to the overall success of the retail store.

Here's what you'll need.
A minimum of 2 years of responsible leadership, directing successful teams, and being accountable for meeting objectives.
Solid application of interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally, with groups and individuals.
Ability to travel when necessary, for training, or support of any existing or future ReStore(s) within Bucks County.
Demonstrated ability in training, managing, leading, and developing associates in a consistent, positive, and safety-conscious manner.
Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and email.
A history of successfully adapting to rapidly changing conditions with unexpected shifts in priorities.
Ability to safely lift and position up to 50 pounds. The job could entail occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching, often in awkward or tiring positions. The bulk of the time will be spent standing, walking, and otherwise assisting customers.
Position reports to: ReStore Manager
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, this position requires the physical ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time. The individual must have the use of all senses, including sight, hearing, smell, and taste, as well as the ability to stand, stoop, bend, grasp, and hold to complete tasks in the warehouse, shop, showroom, and storage area. The primary work environment will be in the warehouse, box truck, storage area, and shop. Although the HfHBC offices are smoke-free and temperature-controlled, most of the work may take place in non-temperature-controlled conditions, often outdoors. This position requires individuals who can safely lift at least 50-80 lbs occasionally. Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
