Join Our Retail Team as an Assistant Manager! We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Retail Assistant Manager to our team! In this role, you will support daily operations, enhance customer service, and foster team development. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with daily store functions and activities. Providing outstanding customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns with a positive attitude. Organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, while maintaining seasonal displays. Performing opening and closing procedures as necessary. Implementing corporate directives, including compliance tasks and information requests related to store activities. Maintaining effective promotional displays and store-front fixtures. Assisting in merchandise ordering, processing damaged items, and handling record-keeping tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and cash management. Ensuring a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards. Protecting company assets and ensuring cash security. Adhering to company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring all associates follow these standards. Supporting training and development of store associates alongside the Store Manager. Creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional interactions with customers and team members. Maintaining store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is essential. Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store settings is preferred. The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and entails frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and other physical activities.
