As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing store operations alongside the Store Manager. Your primary responsibilities include executing programs, managing product implementations, optimizing store efficiencies, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Deliver top-quality, fast, and friendly service to all customers. Exceed customer service expectations and promote the GUEST program for every interaction. Address and resolve customer complaints to ensure complete satisfaction. Maintain professional appearance by adhering to the dress code and ensuring your team does the same.
Human Resource Management: Recruit, train, and develop store employees to effectively implement programs and uphold foodservice safety standards. Foster a positive store culture through fair treatment and respect for all employees. Coach and evaluate employee performance while contributing to performance appraisals.
Scheduling: Manage the store's performance by creating and overseeing efficient scheduling. Ensure labor allocation aligns with foodservice operations for optimum efficiency.
Ordering and Receiving Products: Assist with product ordering and ensure the quality of received products meets company standards. Alert management of any product issues to maintain inventory integrity.
Merchandising: Achieve objectives for product categories, maintaining an appealing sales environment. Ensure proper signage and promotion awareness throughout the store.
Inventory and Cost Control: Conduct weekly and monthly inventories and track product ordering. Optimize spoilage management through effective documentation.
Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and health standards in compliance with local regulations. Ensure proper employee sanitation practices are followed diligently.
Accounting: Prepare invoices and manage cash transactions, ensuring accuracy. Submit daily bank deposits and enter necessary reporting into the system.
Work Environment: As an Assistant Manager, you should be adaptable to working various shifts and unscheduled hours as needed.
