Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager! In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing store operations, improving customer service, and fostering team development. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with day-to-day store activities and operations Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns Organizing merchandise transfers from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal displays Executing opening and closing procedures efficiently Implementing corporate directives related to store operations Ensuring the effectiveness of promotional displays and fixtures Participating in ordering and processing merchandise, as well as managing loss prevention and record keeping Maintaining a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom Securing all company assets, including store cash Upholding company policies and safety guidelines, and ensuring all associates do the same Assisting the Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates Creating a positive, safe, and respectful store environment for all Keeping the store clean and presentable, including restocking and managing cleaning tasks Performing other related duties as assigned Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives required Experience in retail or grocery store management preferred Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs. and performing frequent physical activities such as walking, standing, and climbing. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. You will thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment with your exceptional customer service abilities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities.
