Be prepared to step in as acting Store Manager in their absence. Assist with training new team members to foster a knowledgeable workforce. Generate and maintain essential store reports for operational efficiency. Monitor safety and security protocols, promptly reporting any incidents. Understand and implement company policies and procedures effectively. Work towards increasing sales, managing profit margins, and minimizing costs. Open and close the store as directed to sustain operational continuity. Conduct daily check-ups and manage bank deposits accurately. Ensure the store's interior and exterior appearance meets company standards. Maintain organized records and files for operational integrity. Review employee timecards for accuracy and approve payroll accordingly. Foster shrinkage control practices and support legal action against theft when necessary. Resolve personnel and customer issues with exceptional service. Perform additional duties typical of the retail apparel/footwear industry. Assist management with various tasks as assigned from supervisors or the home office. Analyze reports from the home office and guide associates to achieve compliance with goals.
