JOB PURPOSE: The Retail Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to help ensure smooth daily operations. The primary focus of this role includes driving sales, improving market presence, and providing outstanding customer service. DUTIES: Establish and maintain positive relationships with NAPA customers. Ensure accurate part selection and resolve customer issues effectively. Assist in recruiting and developing new staff members. Help with scheduling and employee training. Contribute to the growth and development of the store. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license is required. Experience in retail sales is preferred. GED is preferred. Strong attention to detail is necessary. Ability to make sound decisions. Must be capable of being promoted to store manager. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and walk throughout your entire shift. Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds. Capable of using moving aids to manage heavy equipment.
