Retail Assistant Manager Join our team as a Retail Assistant Manager, where you will play a vital role in the success of our store. This position involves assisting in the overall management of our retail facility, ensuring that our store runs smoothly and effectively. Duties and Responsibilities Embrace and promote the core values of Cavender's culture. Support daily store operations and supervise store associates. Step in as acting Store Manager during their absence. Assist with training and onboarding for new team members. Help prepare and analyze store reports. Monitor safety and security, reporting incidents to the Store Manager. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Drive sales initiatives, maintain profit margins, and control expenses. Assist with store openings and closings as required. Facilitate daily check-ups and bank deposits. Uphold store image and appearance standards. Maintain organized records and files. Review timecards and approve payroll. Assist in shrinkage control efforts and uphold company security. Address personnel and customer issues promptly. Engage in all customary retail duties as needed. Collaborate with the Store Manager on miscellaneous tasks. Review and interpret reports from the home office to guide staff in achieving goals. Qualifications and Requirements Ability to follow basic instructions. Proficient in interpreting documents. Skilled at applying concepts to complex tasks.
