JOB PURPOSE: The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations alongside the Store Manager. This position emphasizes driving sales, enhancing market reach, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. DUTIES: Foster strong relationships with NAPA customers. Ensure accurate parts provision and resolve customer issues effectively. Assist in recruiting and training new staff members. Help manage scheduling and employee training. Contribute to the store’s growth and strategic development. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License required. Prior retail sales experience preferred. GED preferred. Strong attention to detail. Sound decision-making skills. Aim to grow into the Store Manager role. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand and walk for the entire work shift. Capable of lifting merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds. Able to maneuver heavy equipment utilizing moving aids. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
