Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are looking for a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager to be a key player in our store operations, enhance customer service, and support team development. Assist in managing daily store functions and operations Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude Organize and transfer merchandise efficiently from deliveries to the sales floor while maintaining seasonal displays Execute opening and closing procedures as necessary Implement corporate directives including task compliance and maintain communication flow related to store activities Ensure promotional displays and store-front fixtures are visually appealing and effective Assist with merchandise ordering, manage damaged items, and keep records related to payroll and cash handling Maintain store cleanliness, a well-stocked sales floor, and an organized stockroom in line with company standards Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures Support the Store Manager in training, supervising, and developing team members Foster a positive, safe, and respectful workplace for customers and staff Engage in maintaining store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms and ensuring neat, presentable areas Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be able to read and interpret operational directives Prior experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management is advantageous Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, and performing physical tasks. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and thrive in a high-energy team environment.
