Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager, where you'll play a vital role in supporting store operations, enhancing customer service, and fostering team development. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting daily store activities and ensuring smooth operations. Providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and approachable manner. Assisting with merchandise organization and transfers from the delivery truck to the sales floor. Performing opening and closing store procedures as necessary. Processing corporate directives and maintaining compliance with tasks. Ensuring the effectiveness of promotional displays and store-front fixtures. Assisting in inventory management, including ordering and handling damaged merchandise. Keeping the sales floor stocked and the stockroom organized to meet company standards. Protecting company assets, including cash, and securing all store-related transactions. Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring all associates comply with company policies. Helping the Store Manager in training and developing store associates. Maintaining a safe and respectful environment with professionalism in interactions. Ensuring the cleanliness of the store, including restocking bathrooms and keeping all areas neat and presentable. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to understand and explain operational directives required. Previous experience in retail management within grocery or drug store settings is a plus. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and manage physical tasks such as walking, standing, and repetitive lifting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Proven ability to thrive in a high-energy team environment. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are needed.
