Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are excited to find a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to enhance our store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster team development. Your contributions will include, but are not limited to: Assisting in daily store activities and general functions Providing customers with a positive, approachable experience while addressing any questions or concerns Organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring our seasonal displays are fresh and appealing Executing opening and closing procedures as necessary Processing corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information requests Ensuring promotional displays and fixtures are effective and attract customer interest Assisting in merchandise orders, managing damaged merchandise, maintaining records for payroll, scheduling, and cash register transactions, and focusing on loss prevention Keeping store areas stocked and maintaining an organized stockroom to meet company standards Securing all company assets, including cash Adhering to company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring all associates do the same Supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates Creating a positive, safe, and respectful atmosphere while maintaining professional and friendly interactions Overseeing cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, cleaning floors, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Performing other duties as assigned Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is essential Previous experience in retail management, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and repetitive lifting.
