Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are excited to welcome a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager who will play a vital role in our store operations, enhance customer service, and contribute to team development. If you have a passion for retail and a knack for leadership, we want to hear from you! Assist with daily store functions and operations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner and address any questions or concerns they may have. Organize and transfer merchandise from the delivery truck to the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are well-maintained. Handle opening and closing procedures efficiently. Implement corporate directives, including inventory management and communication related to store activities. Maintain the attractiveness and effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays. Assist with ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and managing record keeping related to payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Keep store environments, including sales floors and stockrooms, organized and well-stocked to meet company standards. Safeguard all company assets, including cash and inventory. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, ensuring compliance among all associates. Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates. Foster a positive, safe, and respectful team environment while maintaining professional interactions with customers and staff. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking and cleaning operations. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is necessary. Prior retail management experience is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and regular engagement in walking, standing, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and lifting.
