Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are looking for a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager who is passionate about store operations, customer service, and team development. Here are the key responsibilities: Support daily store operations and assist with various functions to ensure efficiency.
Deliver exceptional customer service by being approachable and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Manage merchandise organization, ensuring efficient transfer from deliveries to shelves and maintaining seasonal displays.
Execute opening and closing procedures with accuracy.
Implement corporate directives and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
Maintain appealing storefronts with effective promotional displays.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and processing damaged goods, while keeping accurate records.
Ensure a well-stocked sales floor and organized backroom to meet company standards.
Safeguard company assets including cash and manage loss prevention efforts.
Foster a positive and respectful work environment while ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines.
Assists Store Manager in training, supervising, and developing team members.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and common areas.
Perform other duties as needed to support store operations.
Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is required.
Experience in retail management is preferred, especially in grocery or drug store environments.
Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and manage frequent physical tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic team environment.
Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are a must.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
