Position Overview: As a Retail Assistant Leader, you will take charge of managing the store's operations and team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring a vibrant shopping experience for our community. Key Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organization in both the sales floor and stockroom. Efficiently set up sales and promotions with clear, timely signage. Process register functions accurately while adhering to company policies. Ensure timely execution of visual merchandising and promotional activities. Assist in guiding merchandise presentation according to standards and current trends. Identify and communicate customer merchandise needs to better serve our community. Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure markdowns and transfers are completed promptly. Lead efforts in driving sales and achieving store goals to maximize profitability. Communicate operational goals to the store team to foster collaboration toward meeting the sales plan. Support monitoring and evaluation of performance metrics including sales volume and loss prevention. Participate in training associates on register functions and overall store operations. Adhere to company policies regarding the security of funds. Key Collaborators: Store Management Team Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or equivalent. High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Capable of responding to store alarm situations as needed. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Strong drive and determination to achieve results. Proactive with effective problem-solving abilities. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift between 15-30 pounds.
