Overview Sodexo at Sharp HealthCare is seeking a strategic and experienced Retail Area Operations Manager to lead systemwide retail initiatives across five campuses. This key leadership role will oversee café and catering operations, working closely with on-site managers to deliver innovative, high-quality dining experiences that delight customers and support organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented leader with strong culinary expertise, a passion for excellence, and the ability to implement corporate programs while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and support retail food service operations across five Sharp HealthCare campuses. Collaborate with on-site managers to ensure consistent, high-quality café and catering experiences. Drive innovation in retail dining concepts, menus, and presentation to enhance customer satisfaction. Implement and monitor corporate programs, standards, and compliance across all locations. Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for efficiency, growth, and service excellence. Partner with culinary teams to elevate food quality, presentation, and variety. Lead training and development initiatives to build strong, service-focused teams. Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
