The Retail and Service Manager (age 18+) is a customer-focused role that will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience while managing and optimizing retail sales and operations. Your primary focus will be on enhancing guest satisfaction, driving sales, and ensuring a seamless interaction between guests and our team members. This management position reports to the General Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Store Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting and engaging retail environment. Implement strategies that will increase sales to reduce spoilage of foods and overstock of merchandise. Conducts quarterly store inventory Complete required reports in a promptly, accurately and professionally Order and maintain an inventory of store merchandise in an organized and efficient manner Participate in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the store department Process all merchandise orders following all new inventory procedures Guest Experience Develop and implement innovative guest engagement programs to enhance the overall experience. Oversee the daily operations related to guest services, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, call center operations, and service recovery efforts Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for guest interactions Work with Guest Relations and Call Center departments to increase add-on sales Daily Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and professional environment for team members and guests Hire, development and train new employees as well as provide ongoing training of all team members Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members. Ensures store facilities are clean, neat, organized, and well-stocked Ensure the check-in experience is friendly and efficient for all guests Monitors cash drawers and ensures cash handling procedures are followed Other Essential Duties: Collaborates with park and home office departments Coordinates and oversee various projects from start to finish Utilizes and learns the reservation system for daily planning Participates in other projects and activities as assigned EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Customer service experience required Experience in hospitality and management preferred QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Basic computer skills Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work with minimal supervision Strong verbal communication skills Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to remain in a stationary position Regularly move throughout the store Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and crawl

Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
