Retail & Event Outreach Coordinator Job Summary: The Retail & Event Outreach Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the HomeWorks Energy Field Marketing team effectively creates and sustains third-party partnerships with nonprofit and retail locations. This role involves prospecting new tabling opportunities, nurturing relationships, and managing various projects to support the company's growth objectives. New Business Partnership Development: Develop new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships, participating in networking marketing events, qualifying partner leads, and directly reaching out to potential partner Assist in creating and executing a strategic plan to identify and prioritize key locations within the territory provided Work towards meeting and exceeding new location targets Identify, qualify, and close prospective target partner accounts and provide excellent service to existing customers Consult with management to develop a thorough understanding of field marketing needs, challenges, and trends to offer solutions that are tailored to each customer’s needs Provide expert product knowledge presentations that showcase products and services to potential customers
Location Testing: Test new tabling locations for viability and safety concerns. Conduct on-site assessments and evaluate foot traffic. Ensure the safety of Brand Ambassadors at all locations.
Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing location partners, fostering strong relationships through regular communication and engagement. Monitor partner satisfaction and performance, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to ensure ongoing partnership success. Coordinate partner events, meetings, and other engagement activities to strengthen relationships and drive mutual value.
Project Management: Respond to invoices, liaison between finance and external organizations, and distribute Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with new and existing partnerships.
Perform additional tasks as required. Education & Experience: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred. In depth understanding of Mass Save desired (home energy specialist, brand ambassador and/ or call center) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, with the ability to learn new software. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English . Supervisory Responsibilities: This is an individual contributor position with no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: (will be exposed to the following environments) Office Environment: This position is primarily based in an open office environment with typical office conditions; however, may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting. Remote position: This position is in the employee’s residence and requires the employee to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties. Indoor & Outdoor Environment: This position requires working both indoors and outdoors at retail and other designated locations (farmer's markets, town events). Weather conditions will vary based on the season Travel required 40% of the time within New England – visiting and finding new locations. Physical Demands: Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues. Requires walking to designated location, standing for long periods of time, as well as bending, crawling, and carrying and assembling equipment up to 60 lbs. for each event, and engaging with a large number of individuals. This job may require travel in a personal or company-provided vehicle.
