*Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill Shift Lead Role Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various aspects of the business effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service and possess excellent organizational abilities.

*Duties* * Supervise and coordinate daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth workflow. * Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service. * Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions using POS systems. * Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts. * Collaborate with management on staffing needs, scheduling, and performance evaluations. * Support catering operations as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality service.

*Skills* * Strong skills in budgeting and financial management within a food service environment. * Proficient in cash handling procedures and operation of POS systems. * Excellent shift management capabilities with a focus on team dynamics and productivity. * Knowledge of food management practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met. * Exceptional leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and enhance employee performance. * Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus for enhancing customer experience. * Experience in catering services is advantageous.
