Your Responsibilities:
Complete all necessary training, including the Zaxby's General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class.
Ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional guest experiences.
Manage staffing by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and supporting top talent.
Facilitate on-the-job training and continuous development for team members.
Timely and efficiently create work schedules that meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.
Communicate expectations clearly and adjust shift assignments as necessary.
Uphold standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness at all times.
Create and foster a positive work environment that promotes team morale.
Maximize profitability through effective sales strategies and cost control measures.
Engage with the community to build relationships and enhance sales.
Monitor compliance with Zaxby's guidelines and legal requirements.
Analyze daily performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Address guest and team member concerns with a friendly and respectful demeanor.
Maintain flexibility and a proactive attitude to exceed job expectations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required.
Availability for a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week, including flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle report.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
3-5 years of management experience is mandatory; restaurant management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously throughout shifts.
Occasional bending, crouching, climbing, and the use of ladders.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulating food and equipment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Adequate vision and hearing to observe and respond to the environment.
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and potential food allergens.
Safe operation of kitchen equipment, including knives and fryers.
