Your Role at Raising Canes: The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in daily restaurant operations, upholding Raising Canes standards and culture in shift management responsibilities. The physical work environment involves working in a fast-paced kitchen, interacting with customers, and includes extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and working outdoors and indoors in varied temperatures. It also involves handling food, allergens, industrial equipment, cleaning products, and using personal protective equipment. Your Impact and Responsibilities: Purpose of the position: Ensure operations meet Raising Canes standards across all restaurant zones during a shift Act as manager on duty, including opening and closing the restaurant Manage cash handling with accountability General to the role: Enforce Raising Canes policies and standards Conduct shift management in line with operations and safety standards Use tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective actions Direct crewmembers during a shift Provide exemplary customer service Utilize reward and recognition programs for crewmembers Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides) Maintain restaurant cleanliness and facility condition Perform other duties as assigned Classification: Non-Exempt Requirements for Success: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong communication skills Effective independently and collaboratively Problem recognition, goal setting, planning, and execution skills Knowledge in staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems Availability for various shifts, including weekends and travel for training 1+ years management experience in restaurant or retail Must be 18 or older High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred How we reward you: Free meals during shifts Competitive compensation with bonuses Health benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, and more Pre-Tax Dependent Care FSA 401K with match Paid time off, holidays, and leave programs Discounts and community involvement opportunities Paid training and career development Growth opportunities into management Educational assistance and scholarships Referral bonuses Income protection including Disability, Life, and AD&D insurance Candidates must meet ongoing eligibility requirements for each benefit.
