DAY-TO-DAY As a Restaurant Lead Line Cook, you provide essential support for our restaurant while offering guidance to other members of our kitchen staff. Your passion for the culinary arts plus your experience in the food service industry makes you the perfect person for this fast-paced restaurant job! You carefully craft meals according to our special recipes, plating and garnishing dishes while performing portion control to minimize waste. You take pride in ensuring that food is prepared quickly while meeting our high standards of quality. Other members of our kitchen staff look up to you, valuing your expertise. Your excellent communication and leadership skills serve you well as you train new team members and supervise their work. You lead by example as you stringently follow all food safety procedures and ensure cooking stations are stocked.
