Job Title: Restaurant General Manager Location: Cornwall, NJOverview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume BBQ restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, business acumen, and hospitality expertise to oversee all front- and back-of-house operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales, ensure consistent guest satisfaction, and manage daily operations with efficiency and professionalism.Responsibilities: Oversee all restaurant operations, including dining room, kitchen, bar, and catering services. Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and high-performance culture. Monitor and improve guest satisfaction through exceptional service and consistent food quality. Manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational efficiencies to achieve budgetary goals. Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships. Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with state and local regulations. Develop and implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and community outreach to grow sales. Analyze financial reports, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for profitability and growth. Lead by example, providing support to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-volume casual dining or BBQ concept. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of restaurant operations, P&L management, and inventory control. Ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality. Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
