General Manager – Fine Dining Sushi | New York, NY
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the team at one of New York City’s most acclaimed fine dining sushi restaurants. This is a rare opportunity to join a world-class hospitality group and oversee the daily operations of an intimate, high-touch dining experience known for its precision, elegance, and artistry.
Responsibilities: Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences with a strong focus on hospitality, consistency, and detail.
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and execution at the highest level.
Manage scheduling, training, and development of staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and cost control.
Maintain standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance in line with fine dining operations. Qualifications: 5+ years of management experience in fine dining or Michelin-rated restaurants.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, omakase-style service, and premium wine/sake programs is highly preferred.
Direct experience in sushi or omakase restaurants is a major plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
