\nDepartment: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
\nShift: Full Time, 12 hr - Night Shift
\nLocation: East Liverpool, Ohio

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice and ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
\n\n
New graduate Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply. Structured orientation and clinical support provided.
Responsibilities:- \n
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations. \n
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond to acute changes in condition. \n
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per physician orders. \n
- Communicate changes in patient status, diagnostic results, and clinical findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary team. \n
- Initiate emergency interventions in accordance with BLS/ACLS standards. \n
- Provide patient and family education and discharge planning. \n
- Supervise and collaborate with LPNs and nursing support staff. \n
- Maintain accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. \n
- Adhere to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards. \n
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
\n\n
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
