Position Description We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder. Why choose Ryder? Here's what you can expect: Weekly Pay: $1500 or more Mileage Pay: $0.65 per mile (2200 - 2600 miles/week) Stop Pay: $21.75 per stop (5 - 10 stops/week) Per Diem: $27.05 per night (3 - 4 nights/week) Sign-on Bonus: $1000 after 30 days and another $1000 after 90 days Paid Training Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Sunday Dispatch Times: AM and PM available As part of our team, you will deliver solo to various regions including GA, NE, and Canada, with occasional stops in IN, KY, VA, PA, and NJ. You will operate a sleeper cab truck, pulling a 53' dry van trailer, and will receive training on all necessary equipment. Your truck will be 36 months or newer, equipped with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance, and you will have access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide for fueling. Requirements: Minimum age of 21 years Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers (last 3 years) Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test Possess a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements Must have verifiable recent experience of: 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the past 5 years, OR 5 years within the past 10 years Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and regulations Important Note: Some positions may require additional screening, which could include employment and education verification and a road test.
