5-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available, with possible opportunities to work shorter shifts, as well!
Rotating daylight and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Rotating Saturdays (12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) factored into schedule.
No major holidays or overnight hours required! Locations: Children’s North (Wexford), Children’s South (Bridgeville), Children’s East (Monroeville), Children’s West (Moon), Children’s Express Care Cranberry (UPMC Lemieux Center), and Children’s West Mifflin.
The Radiology (Diagnostic, X-Ray) Techs will have a “home” location based on their address, and will travel to select additional local sites up to 50% of the time.

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion. Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.
Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers.
Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.
Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.
Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.
Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.
Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation. Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate or ARRT registry eligible. Must obtain Radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire.
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
