We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in California, starting ideally in early September 2025. This unique part-time role involves overseeing and collaborating on case notes for four Nurse Practitioners, with scheduled duties just two days per month. Each session will focus on approximately 1 hour per NP, ensuring quality support and oversight.

Responsibilities and Duties

Review and oversee the case notes of four Nurse Practitioners
Provide expert guidance and collaboration to support NP staff
Ensure compliance with the highest standards of psychiatric care
Engage in bi-monthly meetings to discuss and strategize on patient care
Use AdvancedMD EMR system to access and review case notes

Additional Information

Must be board certified in Psychiatry
Valid California medical license required
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a collaborative healthcare setting
