- Oversee multiple application projects, ensuring coordination between cross-functional teams and work streams.

- Manage project execution, monitor team performance, and ensure optimal resource allocation.

- Act as the main point of contact for cross-work stream interactions, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining goals, milestones, and responsibilities.

- Track project and work stream progress, addressing delays or issues to ensure timely delivery.

- Monitor and manage team bandwidth, reallocating resources as needed to optimize productivity.

- Continuously evaluate team and project performance, providing feedback and reports to senior leadership.

- Ensure timely completion of tasks and evaluate project outcomes for improvement opportunities.

- Identify and manage risks, including cybersecurity and compliance issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.

- Collaborate with enterprise security teams to validate and implement secure application architecture across cloud and on-premises environments.

- Provide ongoing security guidance to development and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

- Lead implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines and guide proper use of cloud security services (IAM, encryption, network controls).

- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet organizational and security standards.

- Ensure vendors comply with state-mandated cybersecurity practices and contractual security clauses.

- Identify and implement opportunities for workflow optimization and process improvements.

- Continuously integrate security best practices into project management and the application lifecycle.

- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal security policies and standards.

- Utilize expertise in project management tools and methodologies for effective tracking and resource optimization.

- Communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders to manage complex relationships and drive collaboration.

- Solve problems and resolve issues promptly, minimizing risks to project success.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in application management, project oversight, and team coordination.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing multiple teams/work streams.

- Collaboration with security architects/engineering teams for secure application deployment.

- Deep understanding of cloud security (identity management, encryption, network segmentation).

- Experience with secure CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps).

- Familiarity with security tools/platforms, container security, vulnerability management, SIEM.

- Experience with cybersecurity principles and compliance with state IT security policies.

- Familiarity with NIST, HIPAA, CJIS, or other regulatory frameworks.

- Vendor management experience (negotiation, performance, contracts).

- Proficiency in project management tools/methodologies.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
