Position Overview:
The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling products on the production line and ensuring that all parts and components are assembled correctly and in a timely manner. The worker must adhere to safety, efficiency, and quality standards set forth by SEG Solar. The worker is entitled to one-hour unpaid lunch, as scheduled by supervisor. If requested, may work overtime to meet customer needs and/or requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Assemble products according to instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
Ensure the accuracy of parts and components used in the assembly process.
Monitor production line for potential problems.
Report any problems to supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor, not listed above.

Requirements and Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in the assembly line production preferred.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to work independently and in a team setting.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination.

Essential Safety Procedures:


Adhere to and follow the safety policies and procedures of the company.
Adhere to and follow the safety practices for the machines which you operate.
Do not smoke except in designated areas.
Be familiar with the location and contents of the First Aid Kit, within your department.

Essential Ability Requirements:


  • Requires good proven English communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read (in English) and understand job requirements, specifications and instructions.
  • Good knowledge of the required procedures related to the job and the machinery operated.
  • Must be able to perform under the pressure of deadlines and schedules.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors.
  • Cypress, TX 77095: Have reliable transportation


Work Location: In person/Warehouse/Facility setting

Starting Pay: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule: Ability to work 8-12-hour shifts; ability to work overtime and weekends (Saturdays)

Ability to commute: Reliable transportation
