The 2nd Shift Production Lead is focused on overseeing daily operations in a manufacturing environment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring product quality , and reports to the Department Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who possesses strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism. A vital member of production, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Demonstrates effective and professional communication skills.

Balances quality, productivity, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.

Directs departmental performance measures with Supervisor, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Supervisor.

Provides leadership. “Leads by example”

Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor (regarding the production line), except for hiring, discipline, and discharging of employees.

Work towards continuously improving workplace organization, safety, quality, and productivity, and supports an environment that empowers employees.

Uses required personal protective equipment.

Other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For Prior Supervisory/Lead experience

High School graduate or GED

Minimum 1 year of window assembly experience

Machining experience preferred.

Good work and attendance history

Average computer skills (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word)

Ability to use hand tools, read a tape measure and calipers.

Ability to read and understand Graham Architectural Products’ blueprints, drawings, and routings.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks as outlined by the supervisor.
