Production & Field Service Technician Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, assembly, and maintenance for our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly, fabrication, electrical wiring, and the use of hand and power tools. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in various environments, including manufacturing facilities and warehouses.

Production & Field Service Technician Job Duties : Build instruments that measure anything from a camera pill to 30,000-pound satellites --- Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, and sometimes Hydraulic assemblies Program the modules and test & troubleshoot assemblies System performance checkout of instrumentation Installation of different types of instruments (may require international travel) Travel to customer site for installation of new equipment as well as service and support for previously installed equipment. Production & Field Service Technician Experience Needed : Electrical and electronic assembly wiring Configuration and programming of hardware interface devices Mechanical assembly of instruments and machines Perform systems troubleshooting and checkout Install the systems at customer locations, both domestic and internationally (a typical installation is less than one week) Communicating with customers for problem resolution Other duties as assigned Production & Field Service Technician Requirements : Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility or assembly line environment Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments Willingness to travel to various job sites as required - Travel is not expected until after the first 6 months to 1 year.
