Product Marketing Senior Manager - Utility and Energy Location: Cambridge, MA We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead product market strategy and execution for our utility and energy consumer data service products. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will shape how we articulate, position, and bring to market innovative solutions for utility companies and their end consumers. This role is based in Cambridge, near Boston, with a hybrid work model. You’ll be a strategic and creative thinker with deep utility industry expertise and experience marketing technology services to utilities, especially in grid and demand response services. Your goal will be to craft and execute product positioning, sales enablement, and campaign strategies to accelerate adoption, drive sales, and secure long-term contracts. What you’ll do Articulate Sense product to the market: develop positioning and messaging; educate and raise awareness of the product and new market categories. Build product content: author positioning statements, datasheets, website copy, white papers, case studies, videos, demo scripts, and collateral. Drive sales enablement: create pitch decks, battlecards, conduct sales training, and support RFIs and RFPs. Support campaign development: collaborate with marketing to plan and execute demand generation campaigns for utility audiences. Gather market and customer intelligence: research utility pain points, competitors, and buyer personas; provide feedback to the product team. What you’ll bring Extensive utility industry knowledge, especially in grid and demand response. Proven track record in product marketing, preferably in SaaS or platform services for utilities. Ability to collaborate with product and technical teams to translate features into market messaging. Strong strategic thinking, content creation, and communication skills. Experience enabling sales teams and executing campaigns. Nice-to-haves Experience with GTM for SaaS/platform solutions in utilities. Familiarity with utility regulatory environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. 5–8 years in product marketing, with at least 3 years in B2B tech products. Experience working with or within utility companies, especially in grid operations or demand response. Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
