The Consumer Staking team is responsible for helping ~7M+ customers earn interest on their crypto holdings. We build easy-to-use staking products for the Coinbase app and advanced liquid staking products for onchain users. Staking is on the cutting edge of the cryptoeconomy where new concepts & primitives are still being invented come build the future with us!
What You'll Be Doing:
Own all facets of a product area from crafting the vision and strategy to executing
Sizing opportunities, analyzing market trends, and identifying the highest-impact real-world use cases for crypto payments and utility
Partnering with design, engineering, and growth to deliver seamless, frictionless staking experiences that scale globally.
Developing and executing consumer growth strategies, including referral programs, social growth loops, and network effects.
Proactively addressing fraud, risk, and compliance considerations while preserving an excellent user experience.
What We Look For In You:
3+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of shipping consumer products at a global scale.
Product vision & execution: Proven ability to translate bold ideas into delightful, impactful features with measurable results.
Growth mindset: Experience in consumer product growthespecially in referral programs, social engagement, or virality.
User obsession: Relentless focus on creating intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable experiences.
Nice to haves:
Experience with Defi protocols either personally or professionally.
Proficiency with AI tools such as Eppo, Cursor, etc.
Crypto-forward experience, including interacting with Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps on networks like Base, Solana, and Lightning.
Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Pay Range: $144,500$170,000 USD
