Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic PRN Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (10448 Lakeridge Parkway Ashland, VA 23005)
Compensation: Starts at $18/hr (dependent upon experience) plus $1.50/hr shift differential
Schedule: PRN – 2nd Shift (4:30pm – 1:00am)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, your responsibilities will include operating our cutting-edge Paxit automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment, fulfilling Bulk Prescriptions, and staging finished items for shipment to our valued customers. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with and support various areas within the pharmacy operations as needed.
Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
Operate and troubleshoot Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment.
Set up packaging lots and follow inventory schedules.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
Replenish supplies across packaging, dispensing, and staging areas.
Respond quickly to equipment faults and workflow issues.
Use systems like Paxit Manager and Framework for order tracking.
Perform audits, packaging scans, and short-fill checks.
Stage and tote prescriptions with accurate labeling.
Assist with bulk dispensing, labeling, and “owes” processing.
Communicate delays and inventory needs to the team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee (must be enrolled in a training class) with the VA State Board of Pharmacy is required (good standing)
Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer skills
Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
Demonstrates strong teamwork skills by actively contributing to group efforts, communicating openly, and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals
Thrives in a dynamic environment by quickly adjusting to changing priorities, new tasks, and evolving business needs with a positive attitude
