YOUR DAYS AS A PRIMARY HEALTH CARE TECHNICIAN With you in this position, our daily clinical operations run smoothly and our patients receive the incredible care they deserve! Under the direction of a nurse, you complete a wide variety of duties to help directly and indirectly care for each patient. At the beginning of each appointment, you take the patient's vitals and ask about the information outlined in our policy. You assist with collecting and labeling specimens as well as support patients as they move around the facility. To take care of our ongoing patients, you help them perform daily tasks such as eating, drinking, grooming, bathing, changing bed linens, etc. When a patient is healthy again and ready to leave, you assist with the discharge process.You feel fulfilled by the amazing work you do and take pride in the meaningful impact you make on our practice! OUR IDEAL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE TECHNICIAN To succeed in this clinical position, you need the have the following certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Relevant Specialty Patient Care Technician Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification and at least 1 year ECW knowledge would be a plus! Additionally, you need to meet the following requirements: 6+ months of experience working inat least oneof these positions: PCT, EMT, certified nursing assistant (CNA), or licensed practical nurse (LPN) Computer proficiency High school diploma or equivalent Are you helpful, cheerful, and friendly?
