We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic cook to join our team. You'll be preparing delicious food according to our recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality service at all times. Responsibilities: Prepare food following menus, recipes, and portions set by the Chef Operate kitchen equipment and have a good knowledge of food items Maintain food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while cooking, serving, and cleaning up Follow the Chef's specifications and guidelines Set up and break down your station in an orderly fashion and transport products from the café serving area Ensure the quality and presentation of the food Help teammates to complete all kitchen duties on time Assist in other areas as needed Skills: Strong cooking and knife skills (Cut glove REQUIRED while cutting) Positive and enthusiastic attitude Good teamwork and communication skills Excellent presentation and customer service skills Cheerful and helpful when dealing with customers Able to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs ***General Requirements*** General responsibilities when working a Cook job assignment can include: Cook food items according to recipes and food production standards Ensure food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption Keep cooking station clean and orderly during shift Comply with all sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment Safely use and operate cooking appliances and utensils Provide friendly and helpful customer service for guests as needed Assist in ordering and receiving food products for the kitchen as needed Work in a busy environment and standing for long periods of time
