Shokudo
Tucked into the rhythm of the neighborhood, Shokudo is a modern Japanese izakaya built around warmth, welcome, and the quiet artistry of the kitchen. At the heart of it all is Chef Masatomo "Masa" Hamaya, whose menu brings together comforting dishes like hand rolls, yakitori, and ramen-each one grounded in tradition and guided by technique.
The space itself draws inspiration from Japanese farmhouses and wabi-sabi design, where natural textures and thoughtful details create a calm, unhurried setting. Just behind the dining room, a lively beer garden invites a different kind of experience-casual, spirited, and full of energy.
