Job Summary: The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. This role supports the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining an efficient and sanitary food service environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies Label and date all food items accurately Follow standardized recipes and portion controls Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations Assist with cleaning dishes, equipment, walk-in coolers, and storage areas Handle food and equipment safely, following all sanitation and health regulations Support kitchen team with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications: 1+ year of prep or kitchen experience preferred Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation Ability to follow instructions and work well in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods Able to lift up to 25 lbs Work may include bending, stooping, and exposure to loud environments
