We are looking for a skilled and motivated Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas using our recipes and maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards at all times. You must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail, and have a passion for great food.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas according to standard recipes and customer preferences Roll and stretch dough by hand or machine Prepare pizza sauces, toppings, and other ingredients Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pizza prep station and kitchen area Operate pizza ovens, dough mixers, and other kitchen equipment safely Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service Adapt to special dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as needed Ensure that all food prepared is of consistently high quality and that portions are consistently controlled. Food tickets are complete and out in a timely manner. Set up/prep station before service, maintains throughout service, and breaks down station according to kitchen standards daily Maintains neat, professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field preferred ServSafe certified A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods. Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
