Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services across the Northeastern United States. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physical therapists to implement tailored treatment plans that promote patients' health and well-being across various healthcare settings. Ideal candidates will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and driven to support a diverse patient population in recovering and enhancing their physical capabilities. Assist physical therapists in the execution of treatment plans. Perform client assessments and report on their responses and progress. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of equipment and treatment area. Document patient care and outcomes to adjust specific treatments as needed. Follow all compliance standards and safety protocols in the treatment of patients. Educate patients and family members on treatment plans and therapy goals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in the use of physical therapy equipment and methodologies. Ability to handle a flexible schedule and work in multiple settings. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
