EnduraCare Acute Care Services (ECS) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. Our mission at ECS is to provide exceptional therapy management and consulting services focused on patient quality outcomes and financial efficacy across hospital settings. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries, aiming to enhance patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. Monitor patient progress and response to therapy, documenting and reporting patient status to the therapist. Help in implementing specific therapeutic programs for individual patients under the therapist?s direction. Educate patients and families about health condition and wellness, including post-treatment home exercises and adaptability. Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, orderly work environment. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed, ensuring optimal patient service and integrity of the therapy program.
