Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacy Data Entry Technician for our pharmacy located in Orlando. This role involves receiving, transcribing, and entering resident prescriptions into our operating systems. Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for dispensing, filling, packaging, and preparing medications for shipment.
Responsibilities
Receive, transcribe, and accurately enter resident prescriptions into operating systems.
Dispense medications as per prescriptions.
Fill, package, and prepare medications for shipment.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and dispensed medications.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Essential Skills
Customer service skills.
Healthcare knowledge.
Pharmacy technician license.
Experience in retail pharmacy.
Proficiency in data entry.
Experience in dispensing, filling, and fulfillment.
Registered Pharmacy Technician certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in long-term care pharmacy.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) credential.
Strong computer skills.
Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced long-term care pharmacy. The schedule for full-time positions varies, with shifts available from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM, and 2:00 PM-11:00 PM from Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts are from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. Candidates must be comfortable working later shifts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
