Opportunities with CareerStaff put you on an inside track to give you access to more career opportunities and get your dream job faster than going at it alone.\u00a0MORE ABOUT THE PHARM TECH PHARMACY TECHNICIAN POSITION:PRN position, as needed\u00a0Assists in the preparation ofmedication and supply orders from healthcare locations and patient/ customer.Ensures packaging and labeling of medications in accordance with pharmacy practice requirements and Federal, state and local regulations.Prepares accurately and completely for the Pharmacist's final check, all medications and supplies needed to fill orders.Processes re-orders under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist.Performs basic computer applications to generate packaging labels and/or replacement labels, input refill or new order labels in medication dispensing systems, and provision of Medication Administration Records for appropriate new admissions with 100% accuracy.Prepares and restocks Emergency Boxes and Contingency Supplies as needed.Processes "Credits" and "Collections" as per procedure with 100% accuracy.Knows and understands safe practices as it relates to the job.Promptly recognizes emergency situations and takes corrective action.Respectfully attends to and reports healthcare location and patient/customer complaints and requests.Promptly and accurately maintains healthcare location and patient/customer charges.Demonstrates reservation of human dignity.Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, client's department procedures and productivity standards.Ensures that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, as applicable to the position and in the business location or workplace.Maintains safe and clean work area and adheres to location/company safety standards.Complies with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.Adheres to location and company policy and procedures.Adheres to established HIP AA confidentiality standards of patient/resident and client location information.Performs all other tasks or duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHARM TECH PHARMACY TECHNICIAN:High school graduate or equivalent1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience.Pharmacy Technician credential or certificate as appropriate per applicable state regulations\u00a0CareerStaff is proud to be a six-time Great Place to Work\u2122 and Diversity for Social Impact\u2122 certified source of healthcare careers.
