We re actively hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join a high-volume retail pharmacy team in Kalamazoo, MI . This is a full-time weekday role a great opportunity for techs who enjoy a fast-paced environment without weekend hours!
Position Highlights: Full-Time | Monday Friday
shifts with rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:30 AM
No weekends
Early closing on Fridays the pharmacy shuts at 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Accurately receive and input prescriptions into the pharmacy system
Confirm patient and prescription details, identify potential drug interactions, and follow up with prescribers as necessary
Count, package, and label medications according to prescription requirements
Provide excellent customer service: answer questions, offer OTC recommendations, and assist with insurance co-pay concerns
Qualifications: Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Strong background in retail pharmacy
Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
