As a third-year pharmacy intern, you'll be an integral part of our pharmacy team, actively participating in our mission and embodying our values while providing genuine care for our patients.
Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, your role is vital in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensuring patient safety
Adhering to pharmacy professional practices
Meeting regulatory requirements
Maintaining quality assurance
Providing outstanding customer service
Managing inventory
Assisting with workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)

Education Requirements: Must be accepted into or currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Required Qualifications:
Currently accepted or enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
0-3 years relevant work experience
Possession or pursuit of valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframe
Working Conditions: This role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends. You should be able to remain mobile for extended periods, lift and carry items, and engage in various physical activities. Specific abilities include:
Full use of fingers, arms, and legs to perform tasks
Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading, inspecting, and transcribing
Effective oral communication with colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Eligibility for immunization provision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are satisfied, pharmacy interns should be prepared to deliver patient immunizations, as this is a crucial function of pharmacists.
