Position Overview Title: Pharmacist | Retail + Compounding | Hamilton, OH | Contract-to-Hire Job Type: Full-Time | 13-Week Contract | Contract-to-Hire Location: Hamilton, OH area Schedule Options: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM3:00 PM, 8:00 AM4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM5:00 PM 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM8:00 PM or 4:00 PM12:00 AM Start Date: ASAP Setting: Hybrid Retail & Mail-Order Compounding Pharmacy Software: PioneerRx Key Responsibilities Retail + Compounding Workflow Verify prescriptions before fill (PV1) and after fill (PV2) Counsel patients on proper medication use, interactions, and side effects Oversee daily operations in absence of Lead Technician Train and mentor new hires and less experienced technicians Support seamless shift changeovers through leadership and organization Compounding Duties (Training Provided!) Prepare non-sterile compounds: capsules, creams, ointments, gels, lotions, pellets Assist with sterile compound prep: eye drops and IV injections Maintain compliance with USP , , and as applicable Administrative & Clinical Development Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records Manage inventory and proper medication storage Stay current on clinical developments, participate in continuing education Mentor pharmacy students or residents if applicable Ideal Candidate Active OH Pharmacist License in good standing (no restrictions) 12 years of retail pharmacy experience required Previous compounding experience preferred but not required Technically capable, teachable, and eager to grow in a hybrid clinical setting Must be able to interview on-site in the Hamilton/Fairfield area Perks & Culture This pharmacy is growing fastand it's built around a team that thrives on trust, accountability, and mentorship.
