This is contract-to-hire role supporting a hybrid retail and mail-order pharmacy serving 29 states. The position encourages leadership, mentorship, and adaptability within a busy, collaborative environment. Job Type: Contract to Hire (possible direct hire)
Location: Fairfield, OH area
Schedule: Experienced Compounding Pharmacist: Days, 7 AM 3 PM or 8 AM 4 PM or 9 AM 5 PM
Retail/Mail Order Pharmacists: Days, 7 AM 3 PM or 8 AM 4 PM or 9 AM 5 PM
Retail/Mail Order Pharmacist: Evenings, 12 PM 8 PM or 4 PM 12 AM
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians and junior staff
Pre-check and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
Provide clear medication guidance to patients regarding use and side effects
Manage shift workflow, including inventory and regulatory compliance
Assist in preparing the pharmacy for shift changes ensuring smooth transitions
Maintain accurate patient and medication records
Stay current with new drugs, treatments, and participate in continuing education
Support sterile and non-sterile compounding activities (capsules, creams, injections, etc.)
Ideal Candidate: Licensed Pharmacist in Ohio, active and in good standing
Experience in retail and/or compounding pharmacy preferred
Willingness to learn and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding duties
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to interview onsite in Fairfield, OH
