This full-time co-teaching position pairs you with a tenured General Education teacher with 10 years of classroom experience in a vibrant 2nd grade classroom. Youll join a classroom with mostly general education students, providing targeted support and inclusive instruction for students with IEPs. What Youll Be Doing: Team-teaching with a seasoned Gen Ed teacher to deliver instruction to a class of 2nd graders Supporting individual students with IEPs through small-group and one-on-one instruction Helping adapt lessons and classroom materials for diverse learning needs Assisting with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation Building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Who You Are: Licensed in Special Education in New York State (required) Open to new grads who are fully certified Excited to work in a co-teaching model and learn alongside a veteran educator Passionate about inclusive education and early elementary learning Organized, flexible, and team-oriented Why This Role?
