Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide vital support in a school setting located in Buckeye, AZ. These contract positions offer the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and language development across varying grade levels. Both roles involve a 4-day workweek with extended hours to effectively meet student needs.

Position 1 focuses on Pre-K through 5th-grade students, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. The schedule includes 36 hours per week, spread over four 9-hour days, with an immediate start and continuing through the end of the school year.

Position 2 serves students from 6th through 12th grade, also managing about 50 students. It follows the same 4-day, 36-hour weekly schedule with 9-hour days. This role begins in April and extends through the end of the school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC preferred)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare and educational protocols related to speech and language therapy
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district and healthcare guidelines
